2. Data we process
The data you provide in the contact form: name, email address, centre of interest, reason and message. Please do not include clinical information in the form. In addition, the server may record standard technical connection data, such as the IP address.
3. Purpose
To handle your enquiry or request for an appointment or information, and to communicate with you about it. We do not profile you or send commercial communications without your consent.
4. Legal basis
Your consent (Art. 6.1(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR), given by ticking the box and submitting the form; and, when you request an appointment, the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1(b) GDPR).
5. Recipients and transfers
Your data will be known to the Institute’s team and to the centre to which you address your enquiry (College Clinic, Triay Medical Centre or Centro ORL Jardines de Murillo). Web hosting and email providers [to be specified] may access it as processors under contract. It will not be disclosed to third parties unless legally required.
The Gibraltar centre is located outside the European Union: if your enquiry is addressed to it, your data will be shared with it under the safeguards provided in Chapter V of the GDPR [confirm mechanism]. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and links to Google Maps; in both cases Google may receive technical data such as your IP address.
6. Retention

7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@tongueairwayinstitute.com and identifying yourself. If you believe your rights have not been honoured, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Minors
The form is intended for people aged 14 or over. Younger minors need the consent of their parents or guardians.
9. Consent of patients and legal representatives
The Institute and its centres hold the consent of patients for healthcare and for the processing of their health data, obtained in writing at the centre before any procedure, in accordance with Spanish Law 41/2002 on patient autonomy and Article 9 GDPR. Where the patient is a minor or a person unable to decide for themselves, consent is given by their legal representative (mother, father, guardian or appointed representative) after receiving the necessary information, and the patient takes part in the decision to the extent of their age and capacity. For children under 14, data processing requires the consent of the holders of parental authority or guardianship (Art. 7 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018).
Clinical cases are published only with the express written consent of the patient or, where applicable, their legal representative, and in anonymised form.
10. Security and cookies
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies; if added, you will be informed and your consent requested. See also the Cookie Policy and the Legal Notice.
